Astrion — Supervised Driving & Compliance Platform
Astrion is a mobile and cloud-based platform designed to help supervised drivers track practice sessions and help supervisors stay informed. It supports a full end-to-end workflow—from account setup and verification through driving sessions, safety/compliance tracking, and report generation.
What Astrion does (today)
Mobile app (Flutter)
- Account + sign-in experience (including email/password and social sign-in options)
- A multi-tab dashboard: Account, Drive, Progress, History, Events
- Drive mode with Google Maps, destination search, and live session controls
- Speed + posted speed limit display with kmh/mph toggle
- Speed violation warning when a driver exceeds the posted limit by 10+ mph
- Supervisor workflows: invite codes, acceptance flow, and deep-link support
Cloud backend (FastAPI)
- Secure authentication (including Firebase-to-backend token exchange)
- Email verification flows
- Supervisor invites (create, notify, accept) with a public landing page + deep linking
- Session lifecycle + telemetry ingestion (GPS and speed data)
- Safety/compliance events (including speed alerts and other recorded events)
- Progress tracking aligned to driving-hour requirements
