Clearance: Secret required

This requirement will support a new Enterprise Government customer that has multiple technologies/engagements in progress simultaneously. This resource should be local to the area since there is a strong on-site requirement (3-4 days/week). Candidates who currently reside in the area and do not require relocation time are strongly preferred. The work will be more R&S focused but Data Center experience is also preferred. The ideal candidate would be a very strong R&S Network Consulting Engineer that understands the Cisco NOS culture and Advanced Services product offerings.

Key Skills/Experience: R&S, Security (ISE, SourceFire, Firepower, ASA etc.) CCNP and above strongly preferred.

3 POSTIONS AVAILABLE

Clearance: TS/SCI

Advanced Services NCEs align and drive focused deliverables with customer’s business strategy and objectives. On a quarterly basis, NCEs are expected to present overall status of projects and delivery as part of the Quarterly Business Review. NCEs will provide backup support on other Advanced Services accounts. Engineers will leverage and generate applicable technical, best practices and white papers.

In addition to an NCEs day-to-day customer activities, training and mentoring other NCEs will be required. NCEs own the responsibility for driving regional Advanced Services projects and customer based project initiatives. NCEs will actively lead complex network, security, and collaboration design, performance engineering or problem resolution projects. NCEs solve complex, cross-functional technical issues that cross boundaries over many disparate products technologies.

Other Objectives include:

  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex networking, security, or collaboration problems
  • Build simulated networks in test labs to resolve problems and compatibility issues
  • Contributes to Virtual Teams
  • Provides ad hoc systems/product training
  • Generates reusable Intellectual Capital in the form of standard customer deliverables
  • May act as the technical specialist for complex deployments

Key Skills/Experience: CCIE or equivalent expertise in one of the following three areas. (Route/Switch, Data Center, Security, or Unified Collaboration)

Desired Skills: Typically requires BS, CS, University degree or equivalent plus 8+ years experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment.

Develop software strategy. Facilitate assessments of the customer’s network utilizing our toolset. Provide best practices consulting to remediation findings. Support testing and validation of solutions and software strategies, configure devices, and troubleshoot errors. Show the value of our services at all times – be proactive and get involved in all aspects of our services delivery and provide visibility to various customer forums

Key Skills/Experience: CCIE in Collaboration. A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Cisco Unified Communication products (CUCM, CUC, CUE, UCCE, UCCX, WebEx, and Jabber). Experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting Cisco Collaboration products. Candidate must be a self-motivated individual that is dedicated to exceeding client expectations.

MUST BE US CITIZEN

Design, configuration, testing, and implementation support for Nexus datacenter environment. Provide best practices consulting to remediation findings. Perform bug scrubs and provide software recommendations. Knowledge transfers with customer on Nexus platform. Primary point of contact for customer for data center technologies. Show the value of our services at all times – be proactive and get involved in all aspects of our services delivery and provide visibility to various customer forums.

Skills/Experience: CCIE in Data Center. A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in designing and implementing data centers. Must have experience with Nexus 2K, 5K, and 7K (9K experience desired too. Candidate must be a self-motivated individual that is dedicated to exceeding client expectations.
